History:
The owner opened her first tiny store in 1993 on a quiet street tucked away in one of Denver's old, historic neighborhoods. Local families enjoyed the classic charm of the old-style toy shop where children were invited behind the counter to help pull the lever of the antique cash register. Customers often stepped up to the wrap table to help out with the gift wrapping, and a pair of squawky lovebirds drew as much attention as the toys. Today there are two delightful Timbuk Toys stores located in busy neighborhood shopping centers where families continue to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and sense of community. (More...)

Selection:
Timbuk Toys is renowned for offering Denver's most creative selection of quality toys and gifts for children. We have toys from large name-brand companies, from specialty toy vendors and we offer unique items from our local market. Our buyers are constantly combing the toy market for the world's best products for boys and girls of all ages. We are guided by the principle that play is critical to a child's development. We believe that the toys we provide for children become their tools for learning and discovery.

Staff:
The people who work at Timbuk Toys are women and men of all different ages and backgrounds. We are privileged to attract a work force from diverse professions. We also hire a large number of students. All of our staff takes pride in giving customers efficient, professional service in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Supporting our Community:
We support teachers and senior citizens by offering special discounts. We support local schools and other organizations by giving hundreds of donations every year and by making our FUNdraiser program available for raising money. As profits allow, we donate to local organizations that benefit children in need.

Colorado is full of creative, entrepreneurial people and we endeavor to work with those who are bringing quality products to the children's market.
