"anyone who’s worked retail knows there’s always that one customer with a ridiculous & overcomplicated request. yesterday, it was me.

i went to Timbuk Toys to get a gift wrapped…an oversized box that didn’t even come close to fitting the width of their wrapping paper…a total pain.

he handled it like a pro. he wrapped the gift beautifully, somehow made it look great. …and then needlessly apologized to me for “how long it took it took him” (which was maybe 7 minutes?, haha)
